MOSCOW, Jan 10 (PRIME) -- Serial output of the MC-21 aircraft with all locally produced components will start in 2024, head of industrial corporation Rostec Sergei Chemezov told Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on January 5.
"Serial production of the jets, wholly Russia-made, with a local engine, will start in 2024," Chemezov said.
He also said that SSJ passenger aircraft will be fully locally made as well by 2024.
